  1995 "generation change", what were your early thoughts and what was said ?

  i had been long gone by 1995, had i still been in , this would of definitely sent me packing, when the magazines came out in i believe nov 1995, what was your first or early reactions.

  what was said from the platform and by the watchtower about this ?.

  Older ones here, what do you remember being told about 1975 ???

  i was just a little kid when the 1975 thing came about, didn't pay much attention to it, after it was over, my parents told me it was just some people being over anxious, and being about 8 at the time i believed it, now when you research you find some amazing articles.

  what do you remember being told about 1975 as the year got closer ?

  we have all fantasized about never having been jw's, how would your life of been different (better or worse) if your family(parents) would of never joined the jw's.. hypothetical question i know.

  but fun to think about it.. for me, i might of actually had a family, instead of being ignored and critized for not going to meetings.. for my family, it goes back to my grandmother (who is now 100), who started the crap line going.

  We have all FANTASIZED about never having been JW's, How would your life of been different (better or worse) if your family(parents) would of never joined the JW's.

  Hypothetical question I know. But fun to think about it.

  For me, I might of actually had a family, instead of being ignored and critized for not going to meetings.

  For my family, it goes back to my Grandmother (who is now 100), who started the crap line going.

  I am told on good authority that the object of becoming a Witness is to "serve Jehovah". It has nothing whatsoever to do with living forever on a paradise earth.

  EXACTLY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, and this is what the Watchtower is so guilty of, always making dates and predictions.

  Jesus said, "no one knows the day nor the hour."

  NWT translation "no one knows the day nor the hour. (except the Watchtower and governing body)"

  they are guilty of hype and promoting to get more hours and donations and CONTROL of people.

  From Russell to Rutherford to Knorr to Franz to today, it hasn't changed, they will never learn, and people will continue to buy into the crap because THEY ARE SCARED TO DIE !

  how do you have a relationship with God if he doesn't answer you.

  i sent this to a friend who told me he stlll attends meeting so that he can keep a close relationship iwith god> he admits to praying a lot and said as the dubs do that it draws him closer to god.

  i asked him when you see someone in the park or the street or wherever with their head bowed, and mumbling, are they talking to god and drawing closer to him.

  i also askew him to explain how praying to god draws him closer to god, because god doesn't talk back with you?

  when i prayed, I believed it would bring me closer to Jehovah, instead the reality of it is, Jehovah doesn't care about me, I don't fit into his plans, and he abadonned me.

  Blind faith, that's all you can say.

  My niece is OUT!!!!!! yeah!!!!!

  some of you don't know, but for the last two years, i've been trying to get my niece out of the clutches of the society.

  it's been a long road.

  since my sister died, my mother has been using a huge guilt trip on my niece.

  "Annoited Class meetings", do they exist ??? Why not ???

  you know, think about the last 30 years, annoited class of anywhere from 8,000 - 10,000, is there ever a meeting when they all get together, and discuss what jehovah has told them.

  if these are the last days, why wouldn't they all be together at least once a year, can they even communicate with each other if they are form different countries.

  i have heard of governing body meetings, special meetings, special arrangement elders meetings, assembly days for a select few etc.. but has there ever been a meeting for all the so called annoited to get together in one place, ever ????
